The flag of Vice Minister of National Defense, since 1958 and
abolished in early 1986. The rank of Vice Minister of National Defense is
General or Admiral.

Since early 1986, this position has no
longer owned any flag. This position certainly still exists on this day.
I reviewed all the official archives about ROC/Taiwanese military flags, and
there is not any information neither de-jure nor de-facto for this picture (flag)
in the archives, Besides, while the Vice-Minister of Defence had his own flag,
the yellow rectangles are on the top and the bottom sides, and those on the
right and the left sides are the style for the
Deputy-Minister of Defence, whose position is lower.

Poor man, suddenly flag-less. But apparently a lot of flags were abolished "Early
1986". Is there a document for this, BTW, so we can see when in 1986 this was,
and what flags were abolished?
It does look a bit like the Deputy Chief of General Staff, without the light
blue circle, though, doesn't it? (Which, of course, was also abolished early
1986.)
